Swimmers Ear - Ear won't pop, bloody discharge?

I have a case of swimmers ear and was prescribed ear drops on Monday. I'm suppose to be going on a flight to Florida on Friday. I woke up today with the feeling of as if my ear is full (won't pop) and the past two night's I have had bloody discharge from my ear. The pain has seemed to go away as it was horrible on Monday and Tuesday. Am I on track to be okay by Friday? or should I go see my doctor again to play it safe?
