I have a blowout, what do I do?

I think I might have a blowout in my ear lobe but not entirely sure about the details of a blowout.... I stretched up to 6mm about 2half weeks ago and yesterday put my 8mm in.. it was a bit of a struggle and took me half an hour to get it half way to the end but eventually got it in after going in the shower.. today I realised it was really sore so I pulled the taper out and it was really bloody and like thick blood gunk, and a tiny bit of pus.. so I dropped a size back to 6mm and cleaned it with salt water.. any tips on what to do to help it heal?
