Pink mucus-like discharge during pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks 2 days pregnant and for the first time today I got a pink-mucus like discharge, I've read about the "bloody show" and this looks like it could be it, but I had a doctor appointment today and she checked my cervix so I'm just wondering if it could just be a little blood due to her doing that. But then again, that was about 4 and a half hours ago. Any idea?
