WoW: Can BtA items be transferred to a character of a different faction?

I've seem items like Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders, Polished Spaulders of Valor and Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge. They are bound to the account, right? If I was a night elf rogue and wanted to use an orcish warrior.. Can I transfer the Polished Spaulders of Valor and Venerable Dal'Rend's Sacred Charge from my night elf to my orc?
